Nice area, would return

On arrival we were met by Derek who I gather looks after the place. He let us in & we were not happy as the walls which were white had grubby marks on the corners. The furniture looked dated & some I feel needed replacing. The curtains which were also white some were stained near the bottom. There was wi fi but depending on the number of people on the system depended on whether you got on the internet as it was a community wi fi. The bathroom was nice & the shower was like a power shower. The Kitchen was dated but worked & the cupboards were full of useful stuff for cooking, cleaning etc. We used the ice packs for pick nicking to keep the food & drink cool. there are two bedrooms one double bed & two singles. some of the furniture was dated & one chest of drawers were very difficult to open & shut! The apt was well equipped & large with a main room,Kitchen, bedrooms,balcony, & an extra room off to the side which got the sun in the evening, the towels looked new with 4 hand towels & 4 bath towels. The beach was either 5 mins or 10 mins away depending on which one. There was a large supermarket over the road, a taxi rank nearby, & bars & restaurants out the back. There was a large pool but we did not use it in early April. There is 2 new sunbeds on the balcony, but you have to carry them down to the pool & back, there is a working lift! There was a T.V. dvd player & sky box in the apt but we could not get the sky box to work? There was a folder with advise on where to go & how to use things, which was good. We hired a car at the airport (Hiperentacar, very good) & there was always a space available out the front when we returned. I have been assured by the person we booked it through that the owner of the apt is going to re-furbish this year with new kitchen, etc. Overall a great time had staying here & would certainly return! Palma Nova was open but it was very quiet in the evenings with some bars & restaurants closed. Shops closed around 10.30. We also got a taxi to & from Magaluf one evening (11 euros) which was also very quiet, but made a change. We hope to return next May!
